It delivers the highest quality MPEG-2 standard definition video, together with interactive services, such as pay-per-view (PPV), home shopping and online games. The Sky+ comes with a hard drive capable of storing up to 80 hours of programming.

With twin digital tuners users can watch one channel while recording another or record two channels while watching archived content.

The PVRs trick mode functionality means that users can pause, rewind, fast-forward and record at the touch of a button.

The Sky+ Series Link feature enables an entire TV series of recordings to be automatically scheduled from the EPG at the touch of a button.
