Humax box stuck on not recognising hard drive is a very common fault on the Humax HDR 1000S and HDR 1010S model. Although we have seen this fault on other models too.  A lot of people go down the road of replacing the Hard Drive but in 95% of the cases its not the drive. There are a number of components that need upgrading and I’m happy to say that we are the only company in the UK who are capable of successfully repairing this fault.
